Towards Skagen

Saeby - Skagen 65.31 km

Today was an eventful day. First I had a working session that ended in thesis submission, yayy!! Then we started biking in the afternoon and still managed to reach Skagen. It was a very easy and well maintained bike path and the wind was in our favour. It basically carried us towards Skagen. On the way we found some funny trees, smells, crossed two train tracks where we had to wait for the train, and snacks.

Along Östkystruten.

Hollow trees...

...with faces :)

Hmmm fresh strawberries and peas from a roadside stand of a farm.

It was getting late when we were just before Skagen, so it was quite empty on the road and we made long shadows already.

Just before Skagen.

Skagen is the northernmost tip of Denmark and has dunes and sand beaches. We take two nights here to explore. We started already by exploring the restaurant and bar scene in town ;)

  2. Looks like a great environment to bike in!

Bar scene exploration sounds like there might be certain risks involved :D
