After having breakfast in the tent due to - surprise - rain, we packed our bags and got started. Luckily it stopped raining after a while and we could dry a bit on the way. We went around the old Turku road on the smaller side roads, saw some little villages and suburbs of Turku, stopped at a beach for a snack, and then finally arrived at Aura River in Turku. Weird feeling to be back in the big city after so many days in the countryside. We had some coffee and snacks and then went to explore the 14th-century castle of Turku - it was a nice exhibition with many rooms to see and the castle has a long history. It was rebuilt after being damaged by a fire in the second world war.
Then we had our last drink and snack together on "our" boat in the Aura River (we stranded here last year around this time after having missed the ferry :D).
Antonio still brought me to the harbour where I had to check in the same way as cars do. He went to the train and probably arrives back home around now. It was an amazing trip so far! :* In the meantime I was the first "car" to board the ferry - exciting! I have my own cabin, did some laundry, and now enjoying the sunset with a drink. Tomorrow morning at 6.30am is the arrival in Stockholm from where I continue my journey alone through Sweden. New times waiting, let's see whether I can leave the rain behind at least a little bit ;)
All best for your Trip in Sweden! Good luck, best wheather and a super working bike WE wish you!!! :-)
