Kristianopel and Karlskrona

Voxtorp - Karlskrona 89.54 km

Phew this was a loong day! Totally worth it though because I had booked an Airbnb for the night in Karlskrona.

The first part was countryside, forest and sea views, very beautiful!

Some huge pigs.

Beautiful windmill in the middle of nowhere.

Old fortress of Kristianopel which was a strategically important place for the Swedes and Danes.

Acknowledging the bikers on the way :) So nice!

I had a really big fish burger for lunch in Kristianopel which was a relatively touristic, small town on the water. Going on, I saw many many people blueberry picking in the forest, partly with professional equipment. It's blueberry time :)

The last part stretched felt very long and I was pushing to get to Karlskrona. Little stop on the beach to have a refreshing swim, because it was again so hot, and finally I arrived in Karlskrona. The Airbnb host is super nice and I could have a shower and wash my laundry which feels very luxury :D

Then off to explore and have dinner in the city. It's by the way situated on many islands and also nowadays a military base.

Market place.

Then off for the night in a real bed :)
