It was a short and dry and warm night on the ferry. I packed all the clean and nearly dry clothes back to my bike and then was again the first one to leave the ferry from the car deck. It's funny that the cars have to wait for one biker, but I quickly let them pass.
Stockholm greeted me with its best weather, it was warm and sunny, yayyyy! I even had time to meet friends that live in Stockholm for breakfast and coffee. Great to catch up and have a chat :) Via the numerous bridges I got some nice sea views of the city before heading out.
The bike paths is Stockholm are very well signposted, so it was relatively easy to navigate out of the city. I oriented myself on the national cycling routes.
Some nice beaches along the way and many water views later I got out of the core city and navigated through the suburbs. In one of the closeby cities they had a kids/farm/craft place where I stopped for an ice cream - I think it might even have been the first one on the is trip?!
These friends I found on the farm :D
Now I have gotten to some smaller countryside roads towards South along a baltic sea inlet. After one obligatory rain shower, I found a nice spot with some evening sun :) All in all, the first day alone went really well and I'm glad that Sweden welcomed me with some better weather :) Good night!
