After a rainy night it stopped at some point in the morning and we even saw the sun throughout the day. A good start after yesterday! The first highlight was a swim in the lake, followed by the crossing of the King's bridge.
Then we went along fields on some beautiful quiet Finnish countryside roads with very little traffic, and the sun was shining. Few kms in we arrived in the coastal town Inkoo which is a cute little summer boating town - we stopped in the harbour for a coffee break.
After that we again turned inland with lots of up- and downhills all the time on small roads, until we reached the little town Fagervik that had an old iron forge situated on a lake. Very interesting to find such a little gem.
Aaand because it was supposed to rain in the afternoon, we made the plan to go all the way to Tammisaari and have some warm up plus food there. And it started raining indeed, so we went ahead with the plan and made it to Tammisaari, found a Chinese restaurant that we entered soakingly wet, and got a nice warm soup and meal, yum! Now we decided to indulge in the comfort of a campground with a bar, a game of pool, and a hot shower. The small luxuries in life :)
There's a storm going on our there, but we have a wind-safe spot.
That was it, the second day. Rack is holding up strongly :D Good night!
