The day started with a swim in the lake and sunshine before we got another surprise shower and luckily could finish packing under the roof.
Making some wood for the evening fire.
Our camp spot right next to the lake.
Then we left Teijo National Park to see the Mathildedal ironworks village right at an inlet of the baltic sea. They reorganised the old factories there in a nice way with some cafés and shops, an exhibition about the old ironworks and later factory. They nowadays have Alpakas and sell all kinds of their woolen products.
Our journey continued towards the little bit bigger city Salo where we had delicious lunch, burger and kebab, filled our water and food reserves, and then continued along the road to Turku. There we found this overly cute little bus stop in the middle of nowhere, and a bit later our spot for the night. The Finnish summer weather has continued in a way that pretty reliably when we have just dried, a rain shower hits again :D
Indeed very cute finnish bus stop, private one :D Nice to see Alpakas!
ReplyDeleteYes, space for one person only in there. The Alpakas were funny also :)
