After a good night's sleep in a real bed my body was a bit lazy and didn't really want to get up. Luckily for me I didn't notice much of the thunderstorm in the morning, only got some rain when walking around Karlskrona. It's a nice city that could be worth spending a few more days.
I went around the city centre and the shore, had breakfast and then packed all the washed clothes into their respective bags again.
The beginning of the biking was a bit hard and slow, but I got into the flow while listening to some podcasts. And then, I first overtook and then was overtaken by a guy cycling into the same direction and with luggage. As this happened two or three times, at some point I thought that it seems we have about the same speed. Went there, started talking and so we cycled together for the next 30 kms or so. Tomas from Denmark came here for a week of cycling in this area of Sweden. He similarly to me carried everything with him, including tent and cooker, so we were on the same line about the mode of the tour. He was fun and easy to talk to and the distance seemed much easier when not focusing too much on the kms all the time. At some point he decided to stay and I went on further. Have a schedule to stay in, as I will soon meet my friends Lur and Marlen in Copenhagen :) Looking forward already!
As it seems that I only took two pictures today, here is one of me in the tent, as I haven't posted one like that yet.

DeleteCool that you met someone to share the road with you! Did he teach you some danish to prepare you for copenhagen? The old joke is that in order to speak danish is to put a hot potato in your mouth and speak swedish :D
ReplyDeleteYeah was a nice change. Now only a few more days until I have company again :) Hehe, he didn't teach me Danish, no. But let's see if I hear some difference when there :D
